Casting is a metal hot working process that human beings have mastered earlier, with a history of about 6000 years. China entered the heyday of bronze castings between 1700 BC and 1000 BC, and the technology has reached a very high level. Casting is a method of casting liquid metal into a casting cavity suitable for the shape of the part and obtaining the part or blank after it is cooled and solidified. [1] Most of the materials to be cast are metals that are originally solid but heated to liquid (e.g. copper, iron, aluminum, tin, lead, etc.), and the materials of the mold can be sand, metal or even ceramics. The methods used will vary according to different requirements.

Fine casting
1. Mould
To make castings, precision casting manufacturers must first make molds. Before implementing specific processes, manufacturers will design and build samples according to the drawings provided by users, and then make molds according to the drawings and samples。
2. wax
Melt the molding wax into liquid, and then pour it into the insulation device. Stand still to remove the water and residual impurities inside, and then add new wax until the volume inside meets the requirements of the mold we want. Next, pour the wax into the previous mold, wait for the wax to cool and solidify, take it out, and trim the wax mold to see if it meets the standard. If it does not meet the standard, it will be directly treated as waste, and then start the wax mold step again。
3、Shell making
Pass the qualified wax form through the excessive layer slurry, drying, sealing, and then drying。
4、casing
The shell made in front can be calcined, which can be divided into two parts: solid solution and buckle cover for pouring. After these two parts are completed, it can be cooled and shelled, and then it can be hung, thrown and cut before returning to the furnace.
Put the steel material into hydrofluoric acid to soak, and then conduct secondary inspection after sand blasting, coring and shot blasting. If there is any scrap, re conduct the pouring step。
